Tom Gordon has been involved with sound reinforcement and audiovisual presentation for over 30 years. In 1991, he purchased Immedia Too AV of Portland and renamed it "AV Portland". He subsequently acquired Audio Visual Products Company of Windham. After several years of retail operation, he converted AV Portland to an audiovisual consulting service, emphasizing AV systems integration, user training, and technical support for non-profit organizations. In 2007, he opened a second office in his home town of Skowhegan, Maine.
Tom Gordon is a Maine native and graduate of Colby College and the University of Maine. For 19 years, he was Executive Director of the Cobbossee Watershed District, a nationally-recognized lake water quality agency, and was responsible for countless public presentations. He has served as president of the North American Lake Management Society, Maine Congress of Lake Associations, and Kennebec Valley Conservation Association. He is presently Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for the Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District and part-time Executive Director of the Maine Association of Conservation Districts.
Tom is a Life Member of the Folk Alliance International. He is a founder of the Circle of the Rustling Leaves and a strong advocate of nature-based spirituality. He is a notary public in the State of Maine and is available to perform all notarial acts and ceremonies.
